John J. Lee Amphitheater At Payne Whitney Gym Tickets & events - 2026 schedule in New Haven

Venue Information

John J. Lee Amphitheater At Payne Whitney Gym is an indoor venue in New Haven, Connecticut, located within Yale University's Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Its setting gives events a distinctive campus atmosphere, making it a memorable option for visitors attending performances, athletic events, and other gatherings.

Payne Whitney Gym is a major university recreation and athletics facility. The amphitheater is one of its event spaces, so the experience may differ from a purpose-built concert hall: the event format, stage setup, and available seating can vary depending on the occasion.

Before purchasing tickets, check the event listing for the specific date, seating configuration, and entry details. Availability and prices depend on the event and demand; compare the listed options carefully, since a seat's value can change with the layout and your preferred view.

• Confirm the event location and any venue-specific entry instructions before traveling.
• Review the ticket details for the seating arrangement and any restrictions.

Seating Information

Seating arrangements can vary by event, and a reliable fixed section map is not available here. Check the seating chart shown for your event before choosing tickets; the configuration displayed for one event may not apply to another.

When comparing seats, consider the view and distance indicated on the event-specific chart rather than relying on general section labels. If the listing does not show a chart or detailed seat information, confirm the arrangement with the ticket seller before buying.

Parking Information

The venue is part of Payne Whitney Gymnasium on Yale's campus in New Haven. Parking availability, access rules, and costs may depend on the event and campus conditions, so confirm current arrangements before setting out.

Allow extra time to reach the venue and check event instructions for recommended parking or transit options. Do not assume that a nearby campus lot is open to event attendees or that parking is included with a ticket.
